Done and done

So, I put out there that I want certain things for this new year, and I think I'm already getting them.

First and foremost is... sex!

Did it!

Let me tell you, it is good. I recommend it.

Plus, the girl seems like someone who I might enjoy hanging around with. She is similiar to me, actor, writer, director, crazy.

She too is from Chicago.

We spent Sunday night just telling stories about ourselves. It was fun. I enjoyed it. Huh. Go figure.

There is a strong defensive part of me that is trying to build a wall to not let her in, but I am trying to fight that and at the same time trying to fight the desperate needy instinct to latch onto this girl and never let her go.

Like I said here before, I don't know if she is The One, in fact, I hope she isn't. However, I just want to have fun with someone right now. If I can maintain that for a bit, then I can let my brain get comfortable and see what develops.

As for writing, I am trying to write here on the first and the fifteenth, just to force more writing here. I barely made it to the computer today.

What with my FULL schedule of work, and writing a show, and putting up another show, and now dating, I have NO time.

My new roommate, who is fantastic, always says that I work way too much.

She is an architect from Macedonia, who is new to the states. Only 5 months here. She is very cosmopolitan, and looking to meet the same type of people.

She doesn't have a car, which is murder here in LA, but she does have a few friends who already live here, so she is not totally isolated.

I enjoy her company very much when I am home, but I just hope she doesn't start to want me to take her out and about, and show her new things and people, because... I just don't have the time.

Most mornings I wake up and try to encourage myself to really, come on really, get out of bed.

I may be exhausted, and I might not be able to keep this pace, but so far, I like 2007.

To Begin...

Well, here is 2007.

As promised, I plan to write more. My resolutions this year are:

1.Write more. Here. Try to express myself fully, and let go of either the negative or positive leanings, and just write. I also want to...

2.Write better. Here. And else where. I'm writing comedy now, and trying to be poetic in my approach to it. It is a rythmic language, that comedy.

3.Sex. Need I say more.

4.Relationship. I wouldn't mind having a girlfriend some time this year. Maybe not The One, in fact, NOT The One, but someone for some kind of compatibility would be nice. I'm ready. Did you hear that universe... I'm putting it out there.

5.Paid acting gig. I want another one. Commercial would be great. Guest star on a show would be better. It's possible. Universe?

6.Financial intelligence. I need to make big boy purchases this year... new car, stocks, laptop. Time to play adult.


Those are just a few of the things on my mind. I think they are possible too, so that's cool. Lets also throw in there cook healthy food and work out more, still got to look good naked, but I'm not sure those are possible.
